When a trendline does not hold…

I’ve always felt It’d be nice to know if/when a trend will not hold. It’s been in the back of my mind, but I could not define it. This morning I saw a trend break and my gut told me it would.

This is what I saw… The last dip exceeds the normal lower low range. When price approached the downward trend, I felt it would not hold. However, the next image shows it DID hold, BUT, not by much. Does this mean I need to expand my SL after an exaggerated leg?

So, it broke the trend line, but then followed it making a higher low. What will happen from here? My guess is another low at the trend line followed by a bull move… IF the next low is a higher low… Regardless, I have no idea. Will wait for it to play out.

It did not hold. I took a low confidence trade and exited early

This down trend scares me. Looks like price might hold hat 750 and rocket from there. Opening range low was at 739.

I’ll be ready to go long when the new trend is broken

ORL was pierced and price rebounded. Still honoring the trend line, though.

I need to wait and see what happens. there is a break, but it needs to be confirmed

Took a rebound trade but existed early again. Got to work on my confidence! I also moved my stop loss. I need to stop doing that or accept that 2:1 is where I should start.
